Coronavirus Policy
This policy explains the changes to the Activity Scheme due to the Covid-19 pandemic to ensure we can operate as safely as possible.

These adaptations have been informed by our COVID-19 risk assessment, the results of which can be found on www.plumptonactivityscheme.org

We encourage you to let us know if you have any concerns, have identified any potential risks, or have any suggestions for further adaptations we can make - you can do this by raising concerns or making suggestions to the Play Leader.
Purpose & Scope
This policy statement applies to anyone working on behalf of the Plumpton Activity Scheme including Play Leaders, Deputy Play Leaders, Assistant Play Leaders, all members of the committee and those volunteers and people providing any service or activity to the scheme.

It also applies to all children, parents and carers of children attending the Activity Scheme.
We all have a responsibility to ensure this policy is strictly adhered to and we thank you for your co-operation.

Anyone with symptoms should arrange to have a PCR test - see www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/testing-for-coronavirus/ for more information on how to get tested.

You must also not attend the scheme and self-isolate if the NHS "test and trace" service alerts you that you have been in contact with a person who has tested positive for coronavirus - see www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/testing-for-coronavirus/ for more information on what happens if NHS test and trace service contacts you.

You must notify the Play Leader if you are required to self-isolate for any reason (mobile: 07598 767 537)

The use of a face covering by those engaged to work at the scheme or children attending (which is not classified as PPE) is a matter of individual choice.

wash your hands thoroughly before putting a face covering on and after removing it;

change your face covering if it becomes damp or if you have touched it;

We will follow government and Public Health England advice in the event we are notified of a positive case within the scheme.
In the event that we have to close the scheme due to a positive case we will be unable to refund any monies.
